Wondering why our logo features a honey badger?

Our family recently returned to the U.S. from living in a small town in South Korea for several years. It was a lovely experience in a beautiful country. That said, there were times I had to do things WAY outside of my comfort zone or skill set. During these times, I learned to call upon my inner Honey Badger (remember the viral honey badger YouTube video?? That little dude became my mascot. If you haven’t seen it, go watch it just be warned there is some strong language- https://youtu.be/4r7wHMg5Yjg or if you prefer a family friendly version- https://youtu.be/BtCw08ON0GQ ).

That tenacious creature became our mascot because:

  • Honey badger is fearless, he just does what needs to be done even if it requires being bitten by a snake, being stung by bees, or upsetting a lion. That’s FIERCE.
  • Honey badger has the right MINDSET – it just does what needs to be done, no matter how hard. He has mastered the art of putting on his big boy pants and getting it done.
  • Honey badgers are even known to use tools. They work HARD and SMART.

Anyways, back to the subject at hand – When we moved back to the US and bought a house, we became quickly overwhelmed by all the home maintenance stuff. I thought I better make myself a schedule and personalized manual to help us once I started working again. I quickly realized that I kind of came up with something unique and something that could be super helpful for homeowners everywhere.
